Art of Physics : An interactive session with the Mathematical Physicist Vivishek Sudhir ( EPFL/ Max Plank Institute) and Srishti Fraternity - 8 September 2012

Viveshek Sudhir had his focus set on Physics even during his B.Tech days which he pursued on his own and now at the age of 23 years he is finishing his PhD in Mathematical Physics with his research work spread across Imperial College, London / Swiss Federal Institute of Technology(EPFL), Lausanne, Switzerland / Max Plank Institute, Germany .

Amazing was his exploration of Physics on his own during his B.Tech days (Amrita University, Coimbatore) to such an extent that when he was in his B.Tech 3rd year he went on to co-author a paper with Prof. Gerard 't Hooft ( Nobel prize in Physics - 1998 ) , soon after was invited by CERN-Geneva, EPFL-Lussane, The Ecole De Physique-Paris, ICTP-Italy ,Utrecht University-The Netherlands, University of Aarhus, Denmark and the likes across Europe and later joined Imperial College, London ( where he had Simon Donaldson, a Fields medalist and Sir Peter Knight as his mentors) and moved on when Vivishek was personally invited by Prof. T. Haensch , Nobel Prize -Physics, 2005 ( Director of Quantum Optics group at Max Plank Institute, Germany ) to work with him to complete his PhD .

Vivishek is an artist as well who had his solo painting exhibitions and is into a variety of sports too , holds a Brown belt in Karate and is an expert in the use of the nunchuk.
